SPA is continuing to work with the Queensland government and Screen Queensland to assess the potential impact of the reduction of the state's Screen Industry Attraction Development Fund.

“Queensland’s screen incentives represent a critical part of closing finance plans and determining where millions of dollars in production expenditure and economic activity ultimately lands,” [SPA CEO Matthew Deaner] said.

“Maintaining a competitive level of investment is essential to keeping productions, businesses and jobs in Queensland.'
