Big changes are coming to the NDIS.

Yesterday the government announced a brand new $2 billion program called “Thriving Kids”, designed for children with mild to moderate developmental delays (including autism).

So what does this mean for families?

Kids won’t be suddenly removed from the NDIS. A new system of foundational supports will roll out in mid-2027.

Families will access therapy, assessments and health check-ins through Medicare and schools instead of the NDIS.

We know changes like this can feel scary - but hopefully they’ll also bring the chance for more accessible everyday support.

Book Week is all fun and games until your ‘white crayon’ gets mistaken for a cult leader. 👀

No matter how many hours you spent on hot glue and glitter, the moment they step into the school parade… the costume takes on a life of its own.

These are the Book Week costume fails that made us LOL from the sidelines.

Of course we’re not into snapping pics of other people’s children, so we asked Ai to imagine them for us. The results proved pretty entertaining!
