Sooo, I sat through season 1 of Pluribus on Apple TV. Breaking Bad it is not, even though it’s created by the same person. If you haven't watched it, it's a slow burn. As in a very slow burn.

The show imagines a world where everyone shares one mind. For the main character, Carol, it must feel a bit like talking to ChatGPT, all the answers right there in front of you.

But at the end of the day, the "we" in the show is just like tech. It's there to give you what you want and make you feel good, even if it’s not always the right thing.

💡 Did you know Australia is banning under‑16s from social media starting December 10, 2025?

Platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, X, and YouTube will need to enforce age rules.

The details are still in the air, but for adults, there probably won’t be ID checks. Platforms already have plenty of data, so they can use this to take an educated guess.

Teens under 16 won’t be able to make new accounts, and some existing accounts may be flagged or removed. Of course, kids are pretty savvy, so they may find ways around it. Either way, there will be no fines or punishments for parents.

Everyone may notice changes in how platforms manage accounts and data.
