Got to flex my hardcore knowledge while talking to L.O.W at BIGSOUND . We had an important conversation about hardcore history, what the band's approach to creativity is like, and what to expect from a L.O.W live show. They also recommended some bands to get you into the genre if you've been looking to dip your feet in. This was one of my favourites and it's fully up on YouTube now through the link in bio :)

L.O.W have a stacked rest of the year playing with SEVEN HELLS this Friday both in Wollongong, with Negative Approach on the 30th, THE IRON GATE TATTOO CONVENTION on the 7th of Nov in Syd, and Oblivious Maximus 's Hardcore Christmas Party on the 12th of Dec in Melbourne

Shout out to BIGSOUND and beehive for having us 🙂‍↕️

Longer lil teaser than usual but I think it sums up the whole chat with Spinning Cupids well. We had a chat a few weeks back about the band's new heavy direction, the ways they make their work more accessible for fans, and coming into their identity more.

Full interview is up now on YouTube - link in bio as always :)

Thank you to the band for a good laugh hehehe

Somewhere in the middle of photographing Yours and Owls, Bree Vane and I had a second to crouch down, balance my phone off a gate and some cement, and had a quick fire round chat about her band Heterochromia before heading back to photograph some very cool bands.
(How crazy does the sky look here btw)

Heterochromia will be playing a show this Friday at The Lord Gladstone with POLLY and you should buy a ticket because it will be lots of fun 🙂‍↕️💖
