Active Networks is the publisher of the Peninsula Living and North Shore Living magazines and the website Think Local. We provide Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore communities with local news, articles, people, events and retail offers. The first new treatment for early symptomatic Alzheimer’s brings new hope to Australians in the initial stages of this insidious disease. In May, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) green-lighted Eli Lilly’s Donanemab – brand name Kisunla – the first new drug to be approved in Australia for the treatment of early Alzheimer’s disease in 25 years, and the first that works to address the underlying cause.
