🌳✨ Calling all families — have you checked out Hinterland Adventure Playground, Cooroy yet? It’s hands down one of the most imaginative, inclusive play spaces in the hinterland!

With a climbing tower, inclusive flying fox & swings, a rocketship inspired by Cooroy’s timber mill past, natural log structures, and a gentle creek / splash pond — there’s something for little explorers of all ages.

Pack your swimmers, hat, sunscreen and a picnic — the shady BBQ shelters are perfect for a break. The playground is fully accessible, with wide pathways, accessible bathrooms + a Changing Places room.

Fun fact: many parts of the playground were built using heritage materials from old Cooroy brickworks, windmills, bridges & timber mills.

⚠️ Heads up — the site is in an area prone to flooding, so always watch for alerts or closures during/after heavy rain.

Living out our dream life... all because we said YES!

YES to an opportunity most won't even look at!

🌊☀️𝘽𝙪𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖 𝘽𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 🌊☀️

We couldn’t wrap up our staycation without another visit to beautiful Buddina Beach 🌊☀️

This spot is stunning but also a good reminder to always swim between the flags, as the surf can get a little wild in places. Safety first, always 🙌

Now for the funny part… when we arrived, I told Zac and Zali, “Come on, let’s get your swimmers on!” Both of them insisted, “Nope, we’re just building sandcastles, we don’t want to get wet.” 😂

Well, the ocean had other plans! One cheeky wave came rolling in and absolutely drenched them head to toe. Next minute, the sandcastle plans were forgotten, and they were splashing, giggling, and having the time of their lives 🏖️💦 make sure you check out our stories for more giggles and fun.

This staycation has been incredible, full of surprises, laughter, and special family moments. Feeling so grateful we get to live in and explore this amazing country of ours. 🇦🇺💛

BELLS REACH PLAYGROUND CALOUNDRA!!

If you’re looking for somewhere fun to take the kids through the school holidays or on the weekend, Bells Reach Playground is definitely worth checking out!

It’s packed with adventure – think climbing nets, tunnels, rock walls, slides, swings and even a pirate-style crow’s nest lookout. Little ones aren’t left out either, with their own mini adventure play space. The sand floor is perfect for soft landings or a bit of digging fun with buckets and spades.

Sports lovers can kick a ball on the soccer field, try handball, ping pong, bocce or even hopscotch. There’s also a bright blue scooter and bike path that loops around the park.

With shaded BBQs, picnic tables, water bubblers and plenty of seating under the palms, it’s the perfect spot to spend a day making holiday memories. 🌴⚽🛝

✨ 𝘽𝙪𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖 𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙘 ✨

We took a walk around the lighthouse at Buddina Beach, and honestly, it took our breath away. Standing there with almost 360° views of the ocean, watching not one, not two, but THREE whales breaching and playing right in front of us — it’s one of those moments you just don’t forget. 🐋💙

The walk from the car park is short and sweet, but the memories you make are long-lasting. A little tip: go early, the car park fills up quickly! Or, park at the bottom and stroll up — it’s well worth it. While you’re there, don’t miss the stunning painted water tank by the lighthouse, it’s such a beautiful touch.

And if whales aren’t enough, it’s also the perfect spot to sit with a coffee and watch the sunrise over the ocean. Pure magic. 🌅☕

These are the moments we’re so grateful for — making memories with our kids, soaking in the beauty of Australia, and living life on our terms. None of this would have been possible without starting our high-ticket affiliate marketing business and leveraging the power of social media.

🌊🐋 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰 🐋🌊

We got the most incredible surprise at Buddina Beach yesterday – three whales frolicking right in front of us! 💙 Such a breathtaking moment and one we’ll never forget, it was the first time the kids had seen whales in the ocean.

These school holidays have been the perfect staycation – sunshine, ocean breezes, and plenty of time making memories with the kids. The weather has been amazing, and we’ve truly been living the dream here on the Sunshine Coast. ✨☀️

Sometimes the best adventures are right in your own backyard. 🌴💦

ONE ON LA BALSA CAFÉ!!

This cafe is located at Point Cartwright, Buddina. Offering quality coffee, breakfast, lunch, and much more. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 6.30am to 2.30pm.

What a great start the day, breakfast with friends Scott, Sarah, and their kids. Breakfast was poached eggs, kids loved the hashbrown, and Zac got a caramel milkshake and Zali vanilla.

Absolutely loving the school holidays and the Sunshine Coast, it's definitely delivering the goods, especially the weather.

Three years ago, we shared this post—and it was shared 𝟳𝟰𝟳 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀. Clearly, it struck a chord.

And you know what? The message is even more relevant today.

Life is short. Tomorrow is never guaranteed. Yet so many people keep waiting for the “right time” to finally live…

👉 Waiting until the kids are older.
👉 Waiting until they’ve saved enough.
👉 Waiting until retirement to travel, explore, and enjoy life.

But here’s the truth: there will never be a perfect time. And if you keep waiting, you risk waking up one day with nothing but regrets.

So go buy that perfume.
Book that holiday.
Take the leap.
Say yes to the things that make you feel alive.

Because life isn’t about working yourself into the ground and hoping to enjoy what’s left “one day.” It’s about living with intention now, creating memories today, and building a life that gives you the freedom to do more of what you love.
