UrbanTalk is about to complete its first full calendar year of operation and it’s been incredible to be on this journey of changing the community engagement landscape. This year has also seen great strides taken by the NSW Government in reforming the development sector to prioritise transparency, reliability and accountability through Construct NSW.

Coincidentally, UrbanTalk’s own mission overlaps with Construct NSW and we hope to see the industry begin to move in line with these initiatives in the new year to create better development outcomes across the state.

The UrbanTalk Podcast was officially launched, where we’ve been fortunate enough to speak with some of the brightest minds in planning and development to go in depth on important topics. We’re looking forward to continuing next year with more guests and stimulating conversation.
