I was just walking down the road the other day and I realised that these intrusive thoughts are inside Tourette's."Tourette syndrome is a neurological disorder characterised by sudden, involuntary, and repetitive movements (motor tics) and/or sounds (vocal tics), according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.Tics can range in severity and are categorised as simple or complex. It was awful, horrendous through my 20s, bad through my 30s, my 40s started to get better and I'm on an upward curve, but I'm still uncomfortable in my skin.""Much like I have sought out medication to fix it, I'm constantly still looking for the reason and the whys."The American Psychiatric Association defines Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as a lifelong neurodevelopmental condition characterised by persistent differences in social communication and interaction and restricted, repetitive patterns of behaviour, interests, or activities. He also told the podcast that he "will look full of bravado and look pompous and look smug and do these grand gestures... 'The closest I came to making life was the closest I came to death': Florence Welch's poigant admissionFlorence Welch has opened up about how an ectopic pregnancy left her with internal bleeding while she performed on stage in front of thousands. In a raw and emotional interview, the 39-year-old revealed how she had conceived immediately with her on-again-off-again boyfriend, a British guitarist in an indie band whom she prefers not to name, in 2023.But what was meant to be a wonderful experience soon turned into a devastating medical emergency, one which will nearly cost Welch her life."It was my first experience of even trying to get pregnant, and I thought, 'There's no way, because I'm ancient,'" she told The Guardian.Welch was made aware of the risks of the pregnancy by her doctor, who told her that should a miscarriage occur in the early stages is was not generally onsidered dangerous. This was not the case for her.Welch first felt pain and bleeding before taking the stage at the Boardmasters Festival in Cornwall in 2023.Her doctor had told her to get a scan when she was back home in London, just in case the pregnancy was ectopic. But Welsh simply downed an ibuprofen, donned her signature white lace dress, and walked out on stage.READ MORE: Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez share intimate wedding day snapsREAD MORE: Tom Holland reappears after head injury while filmingREAD MORE: Dolly Parton forced to postpone Vegas shows due to healthDuring her performance, she said she "felt this thing take over, the thing that's always there, the safe space of performance," which convinced her that she was feeling OK.By the time she was back home, she considered forgoing the scan."I thought, 'I've done this show, I'm fine, I can cope,'" she recalled, "But my doctor's insistence that I come in saved my life."It turned out that she "had a Coke can's worth of blood in my abdomen," and had to undergo immediate emergency surgery to remove her fallopian tube, which had ruptured. For a daily dose of 9honey, subscribe to our newsletter here. She noted: "The closest I came to making life was the closest I came to death."According to HealthDirect, an ectopic pregnancy occurs "when a fertilised egg does not implant in your uterus (womb). Instead, the pregnancy grows in the wrong place, usually in one of your fallopian tubes."There is no way for an ectopic pregnancy to survive, with the pregnancy ending in a miscarriage or abortion. If it occurs in the fallopian tube, it can cause the tube to tear or burst, causing serious internal bleeding that can become life-threatening.When she got home from the hospital, she recalls being in mourning so deep she began "howling", like something out of a "wounded animal".Ten days after the surgery, she was back on stage. She later had to cancel show dates, telling fans about the life-saving surgery but not telling them the cause of it.Since the incident, she says she feels "slightly more obsessive and fragile and wounded than I did before," though it only made her tougher in her work ethic, not feeling supported by the industry she had given so much to.The Red Nose Grief and Loss Support Line is available 24/7 for anyone affected by the loss of a pregnancy, stillbirth or death of a baby or child on 1300 308 307.FOLLOW US ON WHATSAPP HERE: Stay across all the latest in celebrity, lifestyle and opinion via our WhatsApp channel. He's not a bad guy," he said."Some of these other people that get cancelled, they should lie where they're shot."With Russ, he made a mistake. He acted poorly about it, the world kind of didn't forgive him, and he couldn't forgive himself."And what I found to be really interesting is that in today's day and age, cancel culture is just sort of a thing and the world doesn't really let you forget your mistakes."I find it interesting how people react to those moments, do they double down, do they take accountability in those moments?"FOLLOW US ON WHATSAPP HERE: Stay across all the latest in celebrity, lifestyle and opinion via our WhatsApp channel. Jimmy Kimmel apologises to guest Glen Powell for pulling him 'in the middle of this' in first episode since suspensionJimmy Kimmel made his much-anticipated TV return to his late night show on Tuesday night following a six-day suspension the world hasn't stopped talking about.Jimmy Kimmel Live! was taken off-air by Disney after the host criticised the MAGA movement's reaction to conservative activist Charlie Kirk's death. But it returned to the ABC in the United States at 11.35pm PST (1.35pm AEST) today, with his first guest being actor Glen Powell.Kimmel, 57, introduced the actor, 36, by apologising to him for pulling him "into the middle of all this.""I'm honoured. I'm just so happy you're back," Powell told Kimmel, according to People. The Running Man star then recalled how Kimmel and his producer Diane Kelson helped him out during his early days in Hollywood, giving him access to their green room. "When you can't afford snacks or alcohol, I could always come to the Jimmy Kimmel show and have my feast," Powell jested.Kimmel then jokingly asked Powell to repeat the story to make it sound like "I saved your life."READ MORE: Meghan offered a radio show after comments in Netflix seriesREAD MORE: Princess Charlene speaks about life before royaltyREAD MORE: Family confirms devastating news about child influencer Zuza BeineKimmel was in tears during the emotional monologue of the show."It was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man," Kimmel said."I don't think there's anything funny about it."Kimmel said it was not his intention to "blame any specific group for the actions" of Kirk's alleged killer."It was obviously a deeply disturbed individual," he said. "That was really in the opposite of the point I was trying to make, but I understand that to some that felt either ill-timed or unclear, or maybe both."And for those who think I did point a finger, I get why you're upset."If the situation was reversed, there's a good chance I'd have felt the same way."The broadcast comes one day after the Walt Disney Company – which owns the American Broadcasting Company or ABC, which in turn airs the late-night show – released a statement reinstating the show after it was suspended for nearly a week.Disney said that its initial decision to "suspend production" was done to "avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country."We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday," the statement said. However, other broadcasting companies that air the show, such as Sinclair and Nexstar Media, have refused to air the show again despite Disney's reversal.Kimmel's monologue on the assassination occurred during his September 15 episode, where he said, "We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterise this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it."In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving. For a daily dose of 9honey, subscribe to our newsletter here."On Friday, the White House flew the flags at half staff, which got some criticism, but on a human level, you can see how hard the president is taking this," he added, cutting to a clip of President Donald Trump taking questions from the media after the death. When asked how he was holding up, Trump, 79, replied, "I think very good, and by the way, right there where you see all the trucks, they just started construction of the new ballroom for the White House."The President continued discussing the ballroom plans, saying the result would "be a beauty." Kimmel then commented, "Yes, he's at the fourth stage of grief, construction."On September 17, ABC confirmed that the show would be paused "indefinitely".FOLLOW US ON WHATSAPP HERE: Stay across all the latest in celebrity, lifestyle and opinion via our WhatsApp channel.
