PART1/3 - Monthly listeners on Spotify are important only if you have retention of your audience. If you have 500k monthly listeners and your listeners only listen to your song once that equates to less money and overall reach if you have 20k monthly listeners and your listeners listen to your song once a week for a year.

Don’t judge yourself or other artists based on their monthly listeners because industry professionals and your audience don’t.
