I was quietly enjoying my corn & African pear (ube) combo in a bus the other day when this man beside me said,
"My sister,i hope you dont eat pear all the time;it causes malaria!"

I paused mid-chew like 😳

I asked him,"Sir,you mean to tell me... malaria comes from "ube" now?" 😳😭
Let me hold my chest before I collapse from secondhand diagnosis. 😂

He replied, “I’m speaking from experience! Every time I eat "ube",malaria comes.”

At that point, I just nodded like a UN representative. You don’t argue with someone whose lab result is personal experience 😅

I simply told him, “maybe Next time, try eating it indoors — away from mosquitoes.”😁

I came across a video of a woman who was diagnosed of having pre-eclampsia during pregnancy & after childbirth she had eclampsia;according to her story.

The worst part of it all is that she was finally diagnosed of having kidney failure & she's currently battling with her life; the reason why she had to share her story online in other to seek financial support for the dialysis & other procedures.

Her only crime was birthing her twins🥺

And then some insens!tive persons would ask "what does women bring to the table?"

The truth is pregnancy is 50/50 ,some go through it safely,some end up with lifetime complications, some never survive it😥.

As a woman,you may not realise how strong you are until u go through childbirth.

To every Pregnant woman, u will hear the cry of your baby in good health & sound mind 💯.

Life is so private that no one knows I almost fell asleep while in labour with my 4th child.
I was having intense contraction but also feeling tired & sleepy at the same time😩.
Thank God for what the nurses administered into my drip,sleep ran away & I didn't even know how i started dancing "wo wo wo in da wo" in a labour way😩😂.

I pray all TTC women experience this🥰🙏
