Congratulations to the crew of for recently graduating with a Bachelor of Film degree at SAE Sydney!

Their hard work and dedication lead to 'Franz' being one of two short films from the whole year to receive the award for 'Creative Achievement in a Major Project'! Special mention in particular to Eyal Shorer and Jovian Ubukata, who also earned additional awards for their contribution to the film.

Many Video Nasty members have come from SAE, and it is where the majority of us originally met, so it is a significant part of our company history.

As for Franz, stay tuned over the next few days for a MAJOR announcement!

We are incredibly proud to announce that has won the award for "BEST HORROR FILM" at Newcastle International Short Film Festival 2024!

This is our first win for 'Franz' and we couldn't be happier. We previously attended this festival in 2022, where we also took home "Best Australian Horror Film" for . We are now very close to the release of 'Franz', and the crew cannot wait to share it with you!

Our new short film 'The Hole in the Earth' is OUT NOW on YouTube! We think this is our best TAKE48 short yet, so be sure to check it out!

Three friends investigate a mysterious hole in their yard, one with seemingly no end in sight.

This film was created in 48 hours for the Take48 film challenge at Sydney Underground Film Festival (SUFF). It premiered at Dendy Newtown on the 14th of September 2024, then had its American premiere at The Killer Valley Horror Film Festival on the 18th of October 2024.

The festival run continues! 'Franz' has been officially selected to play at Newcastle Underground Film Festival 2024.

For long time viewers, you may remember that NiSFF is where we premiered 'Archie, Bald' two years ago, the first film we ever made! It's quite the full circle moment for us, and we are very excited to be returning to the place where it all began.
