Sydney University Radio Group (SURG) is Sydney University's radio station, run entirely by students on campus.

SURG is USYD's student run Radio, Podcast, Music and Pop culture network. Each semester it broadcasts a variety of shows and hosts gigs for local artists. The USU Creative Awards is The University of Sydney’s largest annual student creative arts prize, highlighting the very best of visual arts, writing, music, and short film. Submissions to the Creative Awards are welcome from all students currently enrolled
at USyd.
The USU Creative Awards are divided into the categories Art, Music, Word and Short Film with each category awarding the following prize amounts:

1st Prize $1250
2nd Prize $800
Member’s Choice $500
