Most of the haters saying they’re “not ready” or “don’t deserve it” have never even performed on a global stage (or even on baranggay level), let alone attended Coachella. Walang kwenta tech security sa Pinas. Hundreds of people lose their life savings everyday. Daming na ha-hack sa local banks at mobile wallet. Walang protection yung hard earned money ng mga Pilipino.

Nung na scam ako ng 4.5 Million Pesos ($120K AUD) dito sa Australia in 2021, within 2 weeks nabalik kaagad sakin the full amount. Sa Pinas wala. Imagine your years of hardwork and sacrifices nawala instantly. I feel so bad for the people who put their trust on these local banks. Spending billions on updating their stupid logo and marketing instead of improving their tech security to protect the customers. We deserve better!

My dad is turning 61 this year and I want to gift him a new phone. Ang tagal na niyang gamit yung luma niyang iPhone X. He’s the pure definition of “kayo muna bago ako.” Even on his special day, inuuna pa rin kami.

I got to where I am today because you showed me what generosity and kindess should be, even when you’re the one in need.

If you’re a man taking a girl out on a date but have no intention of picking her up, paying for dinner, covering the cost of whatever you’re planning, or bringing her home to make sure she’s safe, then don’t date her. Save your time, effort, and money. Stay home and watch anime.

It’s not really about the money or effort; it’s about intention and care. As a man, it’s your responsibility to show her that you can protect and provide, not just for her, but for a potential future family. As a man, you shouldn’t be expecting 50-50. You should be giving more, offering more, doing more. If she insists on meeting you at the restaurant and splitting the bill, that’s fine. But as a man, you should establish yourself as someone she can truly rely on.

Past few days have been crazy.

When it’s your time to go, it’s your time to go. It doesn’t matter if you’re on the train heading home from work, catching the waves on a sunny day at Bondi beach, or sitting in front of a crowd sharing your passion, when it’s your time, it’s your time.

We never truly know when our last day on this earth will come. So stop worrying about the things that won’t matter a year from now. Stop being stingy with yourself. Book that flight. Enjoy that bar of chocolate. Devour that greasy burger without guilt.

Find your purpose. Surround yourself with people who make you feel alive. Invest in the two or three friends who will always show up for you. Call your parents and siblings a few times a week. Nurture your relationship with God and find peace in your faith. Drink good coffee. Watch your favourite movie. Eat your vegetables. Say “mahal kita” more than you should.

These are the things that truly matter, at least for me. đź–¤
