finally got to try the place I've seen all over socials!! I really love their branding and concepts, so had to try their signatures .deli 💚
for sandwiches, we got the Balkan with beef mortadella, olive tapenade, ajvar paste, whipped ricotta with honey glaze. really loved the flavours but do wish the bread was crispy and toasted as the bite experience was overly 'soft'. i had to order the Yagoona haha with panko breast fried chicken, swiss cheese, sweet mayo & liquid cheese on toasted bagel which definitely was my fave of the lot, the liquid cheese was so moreish and yum 🧀
for sides we shared the Curly Fries topped with a House blend signature seasoning which were so crispy and delicious. we also tried the Fried Chicken Bites which are tender fried breast chicken bites with a house blend seasoning and sesame seeds, flavour was on point but we did find them a little dry. generous portion was much appreciated though!
I also wanted to try their Banoffee Cold Foam Oat Matcha but it had a more cinnamon flavour that drowned out anything else, matcha quality was ok
