We love working with talented filmmakers like Shaye Fox from DMWC Films — one of Western Sydney’s most prolific creators in the local music video and documentary scene 🎬

Thanks to the Calling Cards program by Arts and Cultural Exchange - ACE, we were stoked to deliver a workshop series through Made in the West Creative to help Shaye level up his creative practice.

Ross had an awesome time sharing tips on how to film live gigs and demonstrating editing techniques designed especially for music videos 🎸 We also worked on refining Shaye’s promotional channels to better reflect his dedication to showcasing the NSW heavy metal music scene.

What an honour it was to see Diversity Arts Australia's advocacy in action at the inaugural Symposium 🙌

Made in the West was asked to capture and highlights, along with the all-day program of panel discussions, lightning talks and artist performances to hundreds of viewers across Australia.

Hats off to our AV team & production crew for operating so smoothly on the day 🎬 Big thanks also to our audio and video editors for helping us deliver a full suite of podcast and video content - we love your work!

Exciting news on the home front! has been selected to participate in Social Enterprise for Screen, a national masterclass program hosted by and supported by Screenrights🎉

We loved meeting all the other great filmmakers at our first workshop this week and looking forward to hearing more about social entrepreneurship from such a wonderful lineup of mentors and speakers 🎬 Thanks for the opportunity!

HUGE congratulations to Paul K Rye and Noel Street Productions for winning the 2024 People's Choice Award for his debut short 'Places, Please!' 🏆🏆 This laugh out loud comedy got a heap of votes from our online audience this summer and thanks to our new sponsors at In the Park Events (in association with Sydney Olympic Park) he's just received a $2000 CASH PRIZE to put towards his next film!!! And you can bet he's got another great project in the works too 🎬 all filmed out west of course!
