All current tickets are valid for this event...and an email is going out to all who have purchased in case they want a refund...

It looks like we celebrated the weather for Retro Social Club’s “The 80s Boat” maiden voyage too early.

Current weather forecast for Saturday while the party is on is predicting:
Thunder / Lightning: 60%
Rain: 10mm
Wind: 26kmh+

The desired configuration we had for “The 80s Boat” was to use two outside areas (at the back of The Cadman and on the roof) and one inside. They have one other inside space available so if we proceed we would lose a room of awesome 80s music…plus the enjoyment levels would be hampered obviously.

We are so sorry to announce that we are postponing the “The 80s Boat” to a future date where we can fully enjoy Sydney Harbour outside with the best music and atmosphere. There truly will be nothing like 300 people singing A-Ha “Take On Me” while passing the Opera House with hands in the air.

This decision has only just been been made. More details to follow shortly regarding the new date and information on refunds if you want / can’t make the revised date.

We are all so gutted. We are truly sorry…but we want this to be a party you won’t ever forget…for all the right reasons!
