Spent a freezing but magical weekend at Geek Markets Canberra! 🥶❄️🌙

We drove down Friday arvo, grabbed a delicious dinner at a Japanese fusion bar and restaurant, and were up bright and early Saturday to set up… right next to the open trader roller door 😅

It was literally below zero and I couldn’t feel my fingers for the couple of hours (RIP fine motor skills 😵‍💫) — but everyone's warm smiles and kind words totally made up for it 💖✨

Huge thank you to everyone who came by the Moon Genie Studio table!! Meeting you, chatting about Sailor Moon, anime + musicals, and seeing all your faces light up at my art made the early morning and long drive worth it 💫

This month I returned to a full con table setup for the first time since 2023—and wow! From “do I have enough to fill a table?” to “how do I fit it all?!” my art line-up has expanded so much! 🙌

The idea popped into my head while I was tabling at the Central Coast Comic-Con on Sat! I was chatting with my table fox friendo and suddenly thought—what if Kirby WAS the bubble tea?? 🌟

I couldn’t stop thinking about how cute he’d look with little kirbys like tapioca pearls. So of course I had to sketch it out ASAP—and here he is!
