Happy Women’s Month!
Unang-una sa lahat, MABUHAY ANG MGA KABABAIHAN AT KABATAAN NG TAYTAY! I celebrate all of you—my Mama Cheryl Araullo, my sister, my cousins, my grandmothers, and my aunties from the de Leon-Araullo and Tolentino-San Juan families; my friends, my Ates, my friends’ mothers, my grandparents’ and auntie’s co-teachers, my teachers, and all the staff at TUMCSI (special mention to Teacher Lizabeth Perez, Teacher Mae Geraldine Salangsang-Ocampo, Ms. Angeline D. Cayetano, and the late Principal Leonila M. De Leon); and all the women who tirelessly work to fulfil their dreams and represent women in various industries. Mabuhay kayo!
I am so glad and feel very proud to have been surrounded and raised by a community that empowers women—defying stereotypes, breaking barriers, and expanding horizons. Thank you to everyone who paved the way for me, showing me that I can be more despite life’s challenges. It truly takes a village to raise a child, and although the journey has been tough for many of us, I am grateful for the women who inspired me, showed up for themselves, and echoed the possibilities for us—with some of you still rooting for me. 🥹
I will continue to work hard and do my best to represent women, just as you have done for me—both unconsciously and intentionally—as your daughter, sister, cousin, friend, acquaintance, student, workmate, or simply as part of the younger generation.
