☀️ Over the weekend, members on the Gold Coast met for the Gold Coast EOY event. Steampunk, a unique and trendy venue, hosted us. It was a pleasure to see so many familiar faces, as well as a few new ones too!

Although it may have been a while between conversations and catch-ups, members always comment about how great these events are to connect, network and get to know their local colleagues. Thank you to all who attended for making it such a great afternoon.

This issue celebrates Drs Dein Vindigni and Andrea Huddleston, our first-ever joint recipients of the 2025 ACA Chiropractor of the Year award. It also introduces the ACA 2026 'Big Tent' Conference in Adelaide, highlights the experiences of new graduates in their first year of practice, and much more.

The National Allied Health Digital Uplift Plan has been released by the Australian Digital Health Agency. This plan sets out the pathway to strengthen digital capability across the allied health sector and support allied health professionals, providers and peak bodies understand and embrace the digital solutions available to them. The plan also includes a range of excellent resources, examples, and information for health professionals.

The ACA contributed to the consultation phase of the development of this plan, and we are committed to ensuring that ACA members keep pace with the changing digital environment in healthcare and that the chiropractic profession's needs in digital policy, reforms and programs are robustly represented.

Thank you to the volunteer members of the ACA – CA collaborative Digital Working Group – Dr Mel Wassell, Dr Peter McCann, Dr Natalie Clohesy and Dr Adam Smith for their hard work, commitment and collaboration on the numerous digital health projects, consultations, and representation opportunities this year.

The ACA was proud to be part of the 2025 MoveIT Chiro Ball last Saturday at the Pan Pacific Perth, celebrating Murdoch University’s graduating class of 2025. ACA President Dr Billy Chow attended alongside ACA Western Regional Engagement Manager Joanne Servaas and members Drs Joshua Tymms, Karen Kulevski, Nathan Bridger, Sean Ferreira and Maxine Berker.

We were delighted to present three awards on the night:
