Director Spotlight: David Carmichael

Born in Germany in 1990, Carmichael was raised in the heart of the Midwest, where he honed his craft working at the Ren Fair and spinning tales with toys. Six years immersed in filmmaking education paved the way for over a decade of industry experience, predominantly in digital media. His passion lies in storytelling—crafting worlds that captivate and resonate. He finds comfort in the extended realms of The Lord of the Rings, the nostalgic embrace of Stranger Things, and the adventurous spirit of Indiana Jones.

Director Spotlight: Blake Pfeil

Blake Pfeil is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist. In his “day job,” Blake steps into the role of Operations & Programs Manager at the nonprofit storytelling organization TMI Project, where he also serves as a producer for The TMI Project Story Hour, winner of an International Women's Podcast Award. Blake is an associate producer for season 5 of History Colorado's Lost Highways, a project of the National Endowment for the Humanities. His current passion project is All-American Ruins. The podcast arm of the project, abandoned: The All-American Ruins Podcast, was an Official Select at On Air Fest 2023, winner of the Top of the Rockies – Best of Podcasts (2023), and nominated for the Ambies as Best Indie Podcast.

Director Spotlight: Kegan Thomas Witzki

A creator from Chicago now living in Las Vegas,Witzki is a performer with Cirque du Soleil's "Mad Apple," and is the editor of Greener Pastures Magazine as well as its hit column, "Dr. Folklore’s Dating Advice for Mythical Folks." He received his B.A. in Musical Theatre from Columbia College Chicago, his M.A. in Classical Acting from LAMDA, and trained in Chicago’s comedy scene through Second City, iO, and Annoyance.

Director Spotlight - Devon Chulick

Devon has been producing content and podcasts for the last 15 years, for companies such as Everlane, Chubbies Shorts, and his own endeavors. He has been featured in Bloomberg Businessweek, Forbes, Marketplace, and Bleeding Cool for his work in TTRPGs. Devon is the creator of Total Party Chill and the Founder of StartPlaying, a marketplace for finding tabletop gaming groups.

Director Spotlight: Ambrose Smith-Edwards

Ambrose is an Award Winning TTRPG performer, UX/UI Designer, and Illustrator. They are the founder and creative director of Othersider Studios, a TTRPG streaming channel dedicated to telling stories of intriguing mystery and creeping horror. They appear in such things as The Lovelycraftians Podcast, a Call of Cthulhu Actual Play, and Fables: Once & Future, a Urban Shadows Actual Play.
