Meet the Judge: Dr. Ashna Basu 🌟
We are so honoured to introduce Dr. Ashna Basu, an expert judge for Awards Australia Foundation Health and Wellbeing Award! As a Psychiatry Advanced Trainee and the Senior Registrar to the Chief Psychiatrist of NSW, Ashna's passion for gender equity, racial equity, and mental health makes her a perfect fit for this role. She knows exactly what it takes to be a community champion! 🏆
Ashna is excited to learn about "more people doing amazing things" and bring them into the awards' alumni community. For her, the awards are an "incredible way to recognise the efforts and expertise of our phenomenal young people." ✨
When it comes to nominating, she encourages everyone to take action. As she explains, "So often, people are too busy making change to stop and think about earning recognition for themselves – and often don’t think that they’ve done enough to be worthy." This is your chance to change that.
