Site Shot - Custom Studiobricks for a QLD College

The client brief was to create a recording booth with a window above the external mixing desk so the students & teachers can see each other, providing a professional studio set-up.
Studiobricks offers a range of double-glazed window sizes that can be incorporated in landscape or portrait.

Another essential feature was the ventilation.
Studiobricks booths can be specified with different ventilation systems depending on the use and if the client wishes to connect it to their existing HVAC.
In this instance, high airflow was required to keep it cool inside, but it didn't need to be ducted. The solution was one passive and one active muffler. The active muffler silently provides 500m3 per hour of airflow.

The outcome is a pro-grade recording booth that can easily be disassembled and repositioned in a new location as the school evolves.
