Jonathan Granger is the Director/Founder of Granger Australia Pty Ltd and is National Vice -President and NSW/ACT State President of the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA). In his role with the Migration Institute of Australia as Board Director and National Vice President is actively involved with industry liaison with the Department of I
mmigration and Border Protection, State Governments and Skills Authorities. As State President fro NSW and ACT he ensures member agents' concerns and opinions on core business areas of employer sponsorship, international students and general skilled migration are pushed forward to the MIA National Board and the Department of Immigration and Border Protection. In 2012 he received the MIA Service Award for his contribution to "Advance the Migration Profession". Jonathan regularly presents Continuing Professional Development seminars on Australian Immigration Law for the Migration Institute of Australia. He is also a regular contributor to the MIA submissions to Government and has appeared before the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee to provide expert industry testimony. As a recognised expert on immigration matters Jonathan has been interviewed regularly for newspaper, radio and television media including The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald, ABC Radio National (Background Briefing), ABC Radio National PM and SBS Television.
