Released 48 long years ago on this day in August 1978 the debut record - an EP titled 'Bingo-Master's Break-Out!' - by one of Manchester's and postpunk's greatest, The Fall - Music & being the only studio recording by the original Fall line-up, released on the famed indie label, Step-Forward Records. It would be the first of many records released until the final, the album 'New Facts Emerge' in 2017 just prior to the passing of Mark E. Smith (RIP).
