This week we enjoyed a relaxed Christmas lunch with the team. We missed James, who was unfortunately sick. We wish James a speedy recovery and definitely save him some Christmas cheer.

The popular LEGO Club Social Skills group in January is filling up. There are still places left, but register soon to avoid disappointment.

DATES: Monday 12th to Thursday 15th January 2026.
TIMES: 10-11:30am each day
WHERE: Hornsby NSW.

These groups provide a supportive environment where kids can learn essential social skills. From listening to others, learning co-operation and practicing empathy, these groups help children build the foundation for successful social interactions, boosting their self-esteem and confidence. These are inclusive and safe groups where differences are encouraged and celebrated and interactions are centred around the fun and creative activities of building LEGO and playing games.

We are so excited to welcome Aya Shinooka-Phelan to our team. Aya is an experienced Registered Psychologist and Play Therapist. Aya particularly loves working with pre-school aged children, but works with children of all ages, adolescents and adults. Her warm, gentle and caring approach helps anxious kids feel comfortable. Aya is a native Japanese speaker and can provide therapy and counselling in Japanese to all ages.

We had a very busy and exciting week at the practice. We enjoyed celebrating James’ birthday with a yummy coffee cake and lunch out as a team. We were also so excited to welcome Aya Shinooka-Phelan to our team. Aya is a Registered Psychologist and play therapist and she loves working with pre-school aged kids, all the way up to adults.
