We are pleased to announce our top 12 participants for the upcoming Cinematography workshop. Each individual has been selected for their unique skills and potential, and we look forward to their contributions to this enriching experience.

This program is supported by a grant through Global Media Makers, a partnership between Film Independent and the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

Global Media Makers is a cultural exchange program designed to foster relationships between American and international film professionals through comprehensive filmmaker education, business training, professional networking opportunities, and tailored mentorships.

The film is produced by Gauthali Entertainment, Mana Production and Underground Talkies Nepal.

Four projects awarded with HBF+Europe: Post-production Support ✂️

The awards, sponsored by Creative Europe MEDIA, offer support for the final stages of European co-productions with filmmakers from regions where the HBF targets its support.

Filmmakers from Georgia, Nepal, Peru and South Africa are supported through co-producers in Luxembourg, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands. The projects range from the magical rural mundane, a 16mm inquiry into coloniality through botany, revenge noir and the search for belonging.

Nineteen feature and episodic project projects are selected to participate in the Junior Co-production Market during Cinekid for Professionals, from 29 October until 1 November 2024. The market enables distributors, commissioning editors, and producers to discover the latest children’s films and series in development and post-production.
Underground Talkies Nepal presents its feature film "My Home is in the Hills,'' in the market. The film is written/directed by Arun Fulara and produced by Anup Poudel.
