As journalists, we get how the media works and we have all the contacts. We’re strategic in that we create publicity for our clients, but also agile and fast staying ahead of the daily news cycle. Driving business growth is a key area of focus and we

go the extra mile to ensure our campaigns deliver results above expectations. We are different from other PR companies in that there are no lock in contracts and we don’t charge a retainer. We charge a monthly fee and clients can choose to stay with us. Most do.

"As former journalists from some of the biggest newsrooms in the country, we've covered everything from breaking news and politics, to lifestyle, health and women’s issues.

We met while delivering DIY PR workshops to small business owners around the country and stayed up late discussing the industry and developed a new approach to PR. Every week we meet brilliant founders with game changing ideas but they aren’t getting the media coverage they deserve.

Today, In The Media PR exists because we believe every innovative business deserves its moment in the spotlight.

We are a communications agency specialising in story driven, major media coverage and we've recruited some of Australia's top journalists into our team.

What an incredible group of business owners and emerging entrepreneurs this is. 🙌 Yesterday, we played host to the September Brunch Like A Boss event for female founders. 🍬 The Dulux jellybeans are back!

This iconic campaign has been bringing colour to customers for more than 30 years and it returns just in time for the renovation season.

As part of the campaign, Dulux are giving away free jellybeans with every 8L of paint purchased and running Australia's largest ever jellybean guessing competition! A giant 1.7m jelly bean can will also be on tour, popping up at Bunnings Warehouse Australia and Mitre 10 stores across the country 👀

Congratulations to our client Dulux, who re-imagined this classic campaign in collaboration with DDB, Scooter, Initiative and In The Media PR.

Thinking about using for your press releases? 🤖📲

Oryana Angel shares her thoughts on why it's not such a great idea...

➡️Journalists can spot AI-written content, and they'll question the integrity next time you send a pitch.

➡️Photo editors won’t touch AI-generated images. They need authenticity, not AI created art.

➡️Accuracy matters but with ChatGPT blending data and numbers, 'almost right' is the same as wrong.

➡️Your reputation is built on trust and if you’re outsourcing your voice to a bot, credibility slips fast.

AI can still play a role in comms but the strategy and news hook still has to come from people who know the brand, the audience, and the broader news cycle.
