Who’s ready for the new month?

Whether you are or not, go at your own pace. Just ‘cause the calendar says the 1st, there is no need to put extra pressure on yourself to have your planner pages fully filled out. Especially when you feel like you have too much on your plate or feeling behind.

Just take one page today. Write one thing. Either:

• one must do
• one recharge moment or
• one tiny win

Just one of those and that is enough.

Then if you have a little bit more energy, then do the next tiny thing.

If setting up your planner pages is not going to cause you anxiety, then use the time as your self-care and enjoy the moment.

Get your markers, was tapes and stickers out and have fun!

Lately I’ve been feeling stuck.

Not because I wasn’t doing enough but because I was feeling too much!

Between launching something new, managing everyday life and planning my son‘s 18th birthday … I thought the overwhelm was from juggling too many tasks.

But it turns out, it was sadness.

The quiet kind that creeps in when your baby becomes an adult and you realise you’re not their whole world anymore.

Instead of pushing through I gave myself permission to pause.

To rest.
To feel.

When I feel stuck it’s really about doing more. It’s about softening the way I treat myself.

Last week, I had it all planned. But I just couldn’t do any of it.

So I stopped trying to push through and instead gave myself a soft reset.

It wasn’t perfect, but it helped me feel like myself again.

Okay, so have I been playing with my new planner set up all day?

Just been adding inserts and accessories in my new A5 traveler’s notebook … seeing how far I can push the chunkiness.
