It wasn’t that long ago for people like us to be legally allowed to marry each other. December 9 2017 - 7 years ago - and I’m sure I wasnt the only one that literally wept. For many, the plebiscite was bittersweet but in the end, it allowed an incredible outcome no more clearer than getting to see these two beautiful people share their love together

The three of us would like to acknowledge the q***r elders and allies before us that campaigned longer than necessary to allow this day to happen. Izzy and Tayla, I can’t tell how much it personally meant to me to be there on your special day 🏳️‍🌈❤️
