We need a grounded, thoughtful, passionate editor who loves taking the time to find the story and tell it meaningfully.

As a full time role, you'll be expected to cut everything from social videos to documentaries, TVCs and everything in between.

We are a small but very effective production agency working with a number of clients across retail, travel, food, CSR, technology and more.

From our Balmain offices, we offer dedicated suites for offline, motion graphics, colour grading and audio record/mix creating highly effective, award-winning, video-led campaigns.

Our Creative Director has just been named "Content Person of the Year" at the International Content Marketing Awards out of London.

We are building a team for 2022. Taking the foundations we've created and growing even further. It's an exciting time at The Precinct, and this is a great role for the right applicant.

We're on the hunt for talented freelance editors who can work effectively autonomously or alongside a director. A majority of the work is content driven, often doco style so the ability to craft a story in the edit is essential.

You'd be working in partnership with other editors, motion designers, producers and directors at our Rozelle offices (we prefer on-site editors only).

Applicants will possess:

Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong storytelling ability.
Diligent work ethic.
Enjoy working in a team or autonomously.

Rates will depend on how effective applicants are at delivering the above, how many days a week we can commit to. Let us know your day rates and if your flexible on this for contracts etc.

Yoda exudes a sense of calm, it probably comes from how much time in spends in nature. He listens and learns from Australia’s first people and the true custodians of this land. His restaurant has no walls, no fixed address. Instead he seeks out wide landscapes along with wild ingredients to give his guests a truly unique experience.
