Voice of Bangladesh, Australia Voice of Bangladesh is a media and mentoring services provider based in Sydney, Australia. The radio show broadcasts every Sunday at 4pm on FM99.9. Thank you.

It also hosting a community radio show for Bangladeshi community in Australia, particularly in Sydney. Voice of Bangladesh raises cultural diversity awareness and promotes cultural cohesion in Australia. It provides information on the contributions of different community groups to the development of the Australian society and on the various views towards immigration, equality and multiculturalism.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has released a damning statement on the conflict in Gaza, reinforcing that Australia is committed to "a just and lasting peace" in the region via a two-state solution.

The PM has called for "any proposals for the permanent, forced displacement" of the Palestinian population to be abandoned, while also condemning the "terror and brutality" of Hamas.

New South Wales MP Gareth Ward has been found guilty of sexual in*******se without consent after a months-long trial. He has also been convicted of three charges of indecent assault. The charges relate to two separate incidents, one against an 18-year-old man in 2013, and one a 24-year-old man in 2015.

He was suspended from parliament in 2022 after the charges were laid against him, but after he was reelected in 2023 the suspension did not continue.

The independent MP for Kiama was formerly part of the Liberal party, and was the Minister for Families, Communities and Disability Services under Gladys Berejiklian.

বাকৃবি'র ১৫ জন ছাত্রী বিভিন্ন মেয়াদে বহিষ্কার

গত ৯ জানুয়ারি ২০২৫ রাতে বাংলাদেশ কৃষি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (বাকৃবি)'র শেখ ফজিলাতুন্নেছা মুজিব হলের নাম পুনর্বহালের দাবিতে বিক্ষোভ করে হলটির আবাসিক শিক্ষার্থীরা। এসময় শিক্ষার্থীরা দাবি করেন, বঙ্গমাতা শেখ ফজিলাতুন্নেছা মুজিব হলের পরিবর্তিত নাম ‘জুলাই ৩৬ হল’ বাদ দিয়ে পূর্বের নাম বহাল রাখা হোক। তারই পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কর্তৃপক্ষ ঐ ঘটনার তদন্ত শুরু করে এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শৃঙ্খলা ও শান্তি ভংগের অপরাধে বিভিন্ন মেয়াদে বিভিন্ন ধরনের কার্যক্রম থেকে ১৬ জন ছাত্রীকে শাস্তির নোটিশ দেন বলে জানা গেছে।
