What you’re looking at is a diesel oil cooler and admittedly its not the best photo but those specs are bits of bearing material, it’s a clear sign something’s very not good and you probably want to give us or a wrecking yard a call

This machine is a miracle worker.

If you know anything about cars you know a war story about suspension spring compressors letting loose.

The result of threaded rods letting go is a spring under load firing itself into a technicians face.

Basically if not done correctly this is the number one repair that will cause injury or death of a technician.

The wall mounted spring compressor means the risks of injury are now almost Nil.

Are you the next GDL hero?

GDL is reopening its Parts Department, and we’re looking for someone to run it. This is your chance to build a business from the ground up without the risks of a start up.

Build your own KPIs
Be your own boss (mostly)
No industry or automotive experience required

We’re after someone passionate about cars, ideally into Jeeps, who wants to help create Australia’s largest Jeep, Chrysler, and Ram parts catalogue and inventory. You’ll be working alongside our team to make GDL the country’s go to name for Jeep parts and repairs.

No corporate fluff or cliché job ad lines, just real opportunity.

This role is designed to grow fast, with the goal of becoming a national competitor in the parts space within 24 months.

Experience in parts would be great but not essential. You’ll be responsible for:

Building and maintaining online platforms

Creating catalogues

Overseeing warehousing and inventory

You’ll need strong computer and IT skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to take broad tasks and run with them, no micromanaging here.

We care far more about attitude and morals than we do about experience. Skills can be taught. Drive and integrity can’t.

This is a full time role (expect extra effort early on), with some work from home flexibility, but you’ll need to spend most of your time at our North Shore locations.
