Food Coma Eats Sydneys best eats and home-cooking tips ๐Ÿ˜

THIS BURGER WAS INSANE ๐Ÿ˜. Tshering (the owner) is out here trying to make life better for the people of south Sydney with a $8.95 cheeseburger (so I had to add a couple more Patties ๐Ÿ˜ณ). INSANE. It has to be one of the cheapest burgers out there with this quality of ingredients. The smash on the burger was just perfect, and the beef was melt in your mouth good. If youโ€™re looking for some great food to eat in Sydney, give this guy a visit and support him โค๏ธ.

THE FOOD COMA COOK BOOK HAS ARRIVED! ๐Ÿ˜

When I received my first copy, I felt all the oxygen get sucked out of my lungs. My stomach turned over, the hairs on my arms stuck up like needles. It's finally arrived.

This book is so much more than a recipe book to me. This book is a timestamp, a snapshot into one of the most difficult times of my life. It's a reminder of human resilience, a beacon of light during a time where everything felt dark.

Every morning, I needed a reason to peel myself out of bed. COVID had taken half of my business away from me. Cancer was deteriorating my live-giving future mother-in-law. The first months of my marriage to Kira had an asterisk next to it, a time where couples usually celebrate and honeymoon, we wept and mourned.

Many days, I locked myself away from the world, finding a way to manage loss. Through loss, I was able to bring life to something special.

This book is not ground-breaking. It's real. My personality flows through the pages, a stream of Australian slang, anecdotal stories and glimpses of my life. Nostalgia breathes life into the words, exhaling all the love I had left in me.

I smiled, laughed, wept and felt my way through this, and that's good enough for me. If it makes someone's day brighter, makes you laugh, or teaches you something, even better. This book is now a piece of me, and I hope I can leave a piece with you in the process.

Thank you to Susan Dean - Publisher and the team for their incredible work. I couldn't have done it without you.

Merry Christmas everyone! Feel free to grab a copy if you'd like, it would mean the world to me. It may not arrive in time for Christmas, but I promise you'll enjoy it โ˜บ๏ธ

And soโ€ฆ YouTube starts again. After a couple of years tossing and turning my way back onto the camera, this marks a truly beautiful moment.

Ever since I broke my collarbone in 2019, I had completely lost the urge to get in front of the camera. My entire being was devoted to rebuilding my body, and keeping my business of Social Media Management alive, despite being maimed and unable to drive ๐Ÿ˜….

Then another surgery, on my nose, 3 months later with a post surgery infection to boot. Somehow standing in front of the camera with a bloodied nose didnโ€™t seem too exciting to me ๐Ÿ˜‚

Then bushfires, COVID, a struggling business and an engagement all in one year. It felt like just as I was recovering from one thing, Iโ€™d stumble on the next.

Then another year of COVID, a food trailer pop up, the passing of 3 beautiful souls and a small bittersweet family wedding. At this point Iโ€™d given up all hope of ever picking up that vibrant YouTube personality.

Finally, 2022. A year of healing. A year of growth. A year of experiencing. A year of reconnecting. A year of finally catching my breath.

It may seem like Iโ€™m just trying to excuse my laziness, and my inability to pull myself by my bootstraps and get on with life. But in all reality, getting out of bed and turning up for other people in real life was all I could handle, let alone giving my best online. Itโ€™s not easy getting in front of a camera, and giving people your energy. I felt like it would be fake, and deceitful.

I am ready now.
