《尋秦記》小說由名作家黃易所撰寫，小說在中港甚至東南亞等地都獲得空前成功，故事也早已深入民心，其後改編成電視劇，更是獲得極大迴響，收穫大批粉絲。而《尋秦記》電影版是電視劇版的續篇，在保留主要人物設定的基礎上，延續當年的經典。

一場多年前的冤獄，引發改變歷史命運的危機！Ken(苗僑偉 飾)誓要穿越回秦代稱王，彌補他因冤獄而失去的人生。身在秦朝的項少龍(古天樂 飾)一家雖歸隱田園，無奈一舉一動仍被徒弟秦王(林峯 飾)盡收眼底；正當秦王以為一統六國，稱霸天下之時竟碰到現代人Ken的突襲，他不得不去尋找自己又敬又畏的師傅項少龍。師徒久別二十年終於再次碰面，Ken的出現也讓三人的命運捆綁，秦朝再起風波，恩怨終須了結。
