Call for Submissions—Scarlett Wednesday Magazine
Issue Theme: Fearless Beginnings
Deadline: June 20th
Are you a writer, artist, or creative aged between 14 and 25 with something bold to say?
We’re now accepting submissions for the first issue of Scarlett Wednesday Magazine, themed “Fearless Beginnings.”
This issue concerns new chapters, bold choices, and pushing past your comfort zone. We want to hear your voice, see your vision, and celebrate your courage.
What We’re Looking For:
Creative Writing
•Short fiction, flash fiction, poetry, or prose that explores growth, bravery, identity, or change.
Creative Nonfiction
•Personal essays, reflections, or hybrid pieces that speak from the heart.
Visual Art & Photography
•Original art, illustrations, photography, or digital pieces that visually interpret the theme “Fearless Beginnings.”
•Concepts could include identity, growth, self-expression, motion, or transformation.
•Series, collage, and mixed media welcome.
Submission Guidelines:
•Written pieces: Max 1000 words
•Poetry: Up to 2 pages
•Art & Photography: High resolution (JPG/PNG preferred), 300dpi
•Include a short artist/writer bio (50–100 words)
•Optional: 1–2 sentences on how your work connects to Fearless Beginnings
•Must be female and between 14 and 25 years old.
