During the recent Middle Eastern regional conflict, most automakers suspended deliveries to the region as key shipping routes — particularly around the Strait of Hormuz — became unsafe or inaccessible.
However, Ferrari continued to fulfill a select number of orders by air freighting vehicles directly to customers, underscoring the importance of the region to its ultra-high-value clientele.
Given the highly customized nature and significant value of Ferrari vehicles, the brand was willing to absorb the added cost of air transport to preserve exclusivity, service standards, and long-term client relationships.
