In Australia, our history dates back to 1897, when Teens by Louise Mack was first released by Angus & Robertson Publishers. The Angus & Robertson (A&R) imprint exists to this day and is the home to many of our country’s literary icons, including May Gibbs, Norman Lindsay, Dorothy Wall and Ruth Park (to name just a few). In 2009, the A&R imprint was joined by the ABC Books and ABC for Kids imprints and together they represent our commitment to nurturing and showcasing the best children’s literature Australia has to offer.
