Today marks 115 years of International Women’s Day, and we’re celebrating the incredible women behind VANDAL; the ones who lead, create, support and shape everything we do - we couldn’t do it without you 🖤

In the spirit of this year’s theme, Gain to Give, we honour those who have mentored, paved the way, and built a legacy of resilience, skill and inspiration for the next generation.

To mark the day, we asked the VANDAL women to share a few words of wisdom:

If you could give a piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be?

“Wear more sunscreen! And don’t be afraid to laugh at yourself, its not that deep” [Kate]

We welcome Clíona Manahan, as Business Lead, and Kate Turner, joining as Producer.

Clíona Manahan brings more than 20 years’ experience in business strategy and will work closely with VANDAL’s leadership team to strengthen client partnerships and support continued growth.

Kate Turner joins VANDAL as Producer, bringing over a decade of experience across live broadcast, sports production, and advertising.

Tip Top’s the one… good onya, Mum!💛

VANDAL partnered with GWF, BMF Australia and helium.film to bring Tip Top Bakeries’ Back to School campaign to life. The latest campaign celebrates the small wins for mums, making back-to-school mornings a little easier and packed lunches all the tastier. 🍞😋

Directed by Peter Nizic, this TVC blends live-action with stop-motion animation to bring kids’ creative imaginations to life.

We’re getting ready for UNSAID.

Born from hospital waiting rooms, late nights, and moments where life kept moving, UNSAID makes space for what is often left unspoken. Vulnerability, resilience, love, and endurance, held side by side.

Light Across the Water 💙

At 9pm on Sydney New Year’s Eve 2026, Calling Country fireworks display opened the night on Sydney Harbour - grounding the celebrations in culture, connection and respect.

We were honoured to animate the pylon projection visuals for the ceremony, working closely with We Are Warriors creative director N***y and artists Aaron Kennedy and Shaun Daniel Allen (Shal). The story unfolded through music, movement and transformation - animals, plants and symbols of life expanding across the harbour.

A powerful welcome to Country, shared at scale, as Sydney stepped into 2026.

We are excited to announce we will be presenting Infranatura, an exhibition by Raul Ortiz Lejarazu Machin, at VANDAL Gallery for the Head On Photo Festival!

Running 10–30 November, the exhibition shows the beauty and fragility of Australian flora. Raul transformed one of his cameras into an infrared light sensor, creating images that reveal aspects of nature invisible to the human eye. The result? Ghost-like and otherworldly images reflecting the health of plants that endure the extreme climates of Australia.

Scored by Lewis Orford, Phillip's piece reflects on the fragility of memory, place and the environment. Built from digitally reconstructed landscapes, the film looks to a future where nature exists only as damaged digital records, slowly fading and incomplete. It considers how both memory and loss reshape the spaces we take for granted, leaving behind an archive that holds what could never truly be kept.

Shot by helium.film and directed by Matt Humphries, this campaign celebrates the unbreakable bond between people and their four-legged best friends - while spotlighting the importance of giving them next-level protection with NexGard SPECTRA.

From playful adventures to outdoor explorations, the TVC shows how pets (and humans) can enjoy life to the fullest, safe from pesky parasites.

Stopping time and not your savings.

We partnered with Hogarth and the Australian Government on this powerful Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) campaign, directed by Pete J. Moore.

Using a striking freeze technique, the ad visualises the stability and peace of mind that comes with locked-in prescription prices.
As pharmacists hand over medications, time momentarily freezes, reinforcing the certainty of the price freeze.
VANDAL handled all post-production, from edit to VFX, ensuring every moment made an impact. As pharmacists hand over medications, time stops, but prescription prices stay the same.

Westpac partnered with the NRL to highlight the importance of strong defence: from everyday banking security to iconic on-field moments. Featuring household NRL names, the campaign draws a clear parallel between protection in sport and in life.

Working with Spark Agency and Powered Studio , we handled all post-production to reimagine the energy of a packed stadium. Through crowd replication, day-to-night transformations, edit, VFX, and grade, we brought the support behind the defence to life.
