One of my favourite places in Indonesia - Bromo

Mount Bromo is an active volcano in East Java, Indonesia, it’s surrounded by landscape that looks like a desert made of volcanic ash.

It’s honestly so packed with people, and super dusty but it’s genuinely one of the most beautiful and unique places I’ve been.

The 4am Sunrise hike is soooo worth it, literally doesn’t feel real!

30 days of Japan: day 7 Riding around Kyoto

One of my favourite things to do in Japan is to ride a bike or scooter and just explore the city.

You find so many hidden gems and it’s an affordable way to travel where you want to - our end stop was kinkaku ji temple and our whole ride there and back was 2 hours in total.

We used LUUP bikes / scooters here in Kyoto and it was honestly the highlight!

30 days of Japan - day 6: Gyoza (dumpling) vending machine??

So I was really excited when I saw a Gyoza vending machine coz I loooove Gyoza but idk why I was expecting it to be hot not frozen 😂😩

30 Days of japan- Day 5 Japanese food

Japan actually has a lot more than just Ramen & sushi so when I’m in Japan i try to eat as much as I can of everything else that isn’t so common in Australia. Some of my favourite spots below

Alot of these spots I found were local japanese and i cant find them on google so you have to check on tabelog

- Yakiniku - Sumibi Yakiniku • Horumon Motsu no Tenmaya Osaka
- Gyukatsu - ⁠Gyukatsu Daifuki Osaka
- ⁠Curry - no name on google, but its next to BIG ECHO in Kyoto
- ⁠Tonkatsu - Tonkatsu Juju Kyoto
- ⁠Wagyu beef bowl / sukiyaki: Wagyu Hokusai Kyoto
- ⁠Yakiniku - Kaneko Kyoto
- ⁠Gyoza - Chao Chao Gyoza Kyoto

30 days of japan: Day 4- shopping

Japan and China have a way of calling me basic and unfashionable because every time i shop there, I literally struggle because I just don’t know how to style or pull of their outfits.

But If you’re coming to Osaka: these are the places I recommend

- HEP Five: It’s a multi-storey fashion mall and everything is feminine, trendy, and dangerous for your wallet. I got most of my tops + skirts here.

—If you’re more streetwear - Orange Street is your place. The prices are definitely more upper-end tho.

- And don’t skip the underground malls in Umeda Station and Namba Station

Also please… bring your passport and claim everything tax-free!
