Two days solo camping and spearfishing off the jetski in NSW 🌊
Hunting lobster and kingfish, sleeping by the ocean, and finishing it all with a quick and easy lobster catch and cook.

This one reminded me how good these trips are and ill definitely be doing more next year. I absolutely love doing this.

Spearfishing Sydney Long Snout Boarfish 🐟🐟

Absolutely stoked to be back in the water after a long hiatus with work, it was great to catch up with a couple of mates and get a dive in. The conditions werent fantastic, hazy vis that reduced as we dove but plenty of cool species seen. I was using the Aimrite x Wet Mammal Rollergun and railed these two fish in the head with a perfect stone shot on the boarfish. Im getting really dialled in with this new gun and im soo blown away with how accurate it is.

Some really nice cold water species hiding in the thermocline with the water being probably 5-6 degrees colder than the surface temp. Blue throat wrasse, plenty of blue morwong and this beautiful boarfish.

I didnt see any flathead which was the original target for today but i did stumble across a beautiful huge blue swimmer crab but she was carrying eggs so she stayed in the water.

Ahhhhh it feels good to be back where i belong and im looking forward to more diving over the coming weeks.

2 Day Solo Camping and Spearfishing from the Jetski

It doesnt get much better than this from a 2 day solo spearfishing and camping trip securing some solid species on the last day before heading home.
