Final rehearsal done.

After months of writing, planning, meetings, and rehearsals, we’re finally heading into production on Magnets.

Magnets officially begins production this week. After months of writing, planning, rehearsals, meetings, and pre-production, we’re finally heading into production.

As we go into production, this is our final call for support. Magnets is a self-funded independent film and while we’ve had an incredible crowdfunding run so far, we are still covering essential production costs like catering, transport, and on-set expenses.

All donors receive a credit in the film, with larger contributions eligible for Executive Producer credit and invitations to future screenings. Anyone who has donated will also be credited. We Have Until August
Official Selection – IFFM365 (Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 365, Australia)

We’re really excited to share that We Have Until August has been selected to screen on IFFM365, the year-round streaming platform of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.

IFFM is the largest celebration of Indian cinema outside of India, and IFFM365 allows selected films to reach audiences across Australia through its dedicated streaming platform. We’re incredibly grateful to the programming team for including the film and giving it another opportunity to connect with viewers.

We Have Until August will be available to stream across Australia from 15 June 2026 for one month through the IFFM platform.

Thank you to everyone who came along to FADE IN last night and to all of the cast, crew, friends, and supporters who showed up for We Have Until August. It was really special getting to share a 10-minute cut of the film with a completely new audience and seeing how people connected with it.

A huge thank you to Leilani and the entire FADE IN team for putting together such a great event and creating a space for filmmakers and musicians to share their work. It was a fantastic night and we’re already looking forward to the next one.

A small teaser as well, the 10-minute cut screened at FADE IN will be coming to our YouTube channel soon. If you’d like to watch it, make sure you’re subscribed through the link in our bio or on our website and keep an eye out over the next few weeks.

Magnets officially begins production in just over two weeks. After months of writing, planning, rehearsals, meetings, location scouting, and pre-production, we’re incredibly excited to finally head back to set.

Grateful to receive our official Award Winner Certificate from Kyoto Cinematica for Nate Wall’s Best Actor (Lead) win in We Have Until August.

Alongside the certificate, the festival shared some really kind words about the film and Nate’s performance, describing the work as storytelling that captured the spirit of cinema and celebrating the creativity and passion behind the project. Moments like this mean a lot and are always a reminder of how far the film has travelled.

Nate brought so much care, honesty, and emotional depth to this role, and seeing that work continue to be recognised internationally is something we’re all really proud of.

FADE IN has now officially sold out.

Really grateful to have We Have Until August included in a night built around collaboration, live music, film, and bringing creatives together. Huge thank you to everyone who grabbed tickets and supported the event.
