We’re incredibly proud to share that We Have Until August has been named an Award Winner at the Celluloid Dreams International Film Festival. This is our first win for the film, and it honestly means the world to us as we continue this journey.

Celluloid Dreams is an international online festival that champions bold, independent storytelling from filmmakers around the globe. To have our work recognised in this way, especially so early in the film’s life, feels both grounding and surreal. It’s a reminder of why we made this film in the first place, and why sharing stories like this matters.

This award is a huge encouragement for our entire team and a beautiful milestone as the film continues to find its place across festivals. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who has supported, watched, shared, and believed in We Have Until August so far.

More soon as this journey continues.

Happy New Year!

As we step into 2026, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on a few milestones from 2025 and say a huge thank you to everyone who supported us along the way.

2025 was a massive year for us.

Everything is Temporary made its way onto Blu-ray shelves across Sydney and into physical media stores. Seeing the film sitting in real shops was a surreal, full-circle moment.

We Have Until August wrapped post-production, had a limited theatrical run, and sold out multiple screenings across Sydney, along with a special hometown screening in Hill Top. We shipped merch, care packages, and thank-you bundles nationwide, and the film is now officially on the festival circuit, with an official selection in England and an international finalist placement in India.

We also kicked off our next film, Magnets, alongside a companion mini-documentary. Pre-production is officially underway, casting has begun, and cameras will be rolling very soon.

It’s been a busy, demanding, and incredibly productive year, especially while all of us have been working full-time jobs at the same time. We pushed ourselves creatively and professionally, took a more business-focused approach, sold a heap of merch, grew the Bulfin Film Shop, and continued developing new projects.

And somehow, after all of that, it still feels like we’re only just getting started.

We’re looking forward to a creative and productive 2026 and can’t wait to be back on set much more often.

Thank you for being part of the journey.

Bulfin Film Productions merch spotted at the Harbour Bridge.

Huge shoutout to Hamish and Capps for repping the new Southwest NSW Cinema range right in the heart of Sydney. This line is all about where we come from and the stories we’re trying to tell. Regional roots, independent film, and building something from the ground up.

Appreciate the support as always. More on the way soon.

Aaron repping the Bulfin Film 2024 logo jacket, one of our favourite pieces from this year. Designed for long days on set, late nights in the edit, and everything in between.

Thanks to everyone who’s been supporting the shop and helping us keep making films independently.

Everything is Temporary is officially in stock at Red Eye Records.

We’re incredibly proud to share that Everything is Temporary is now stocked at Red Eye Records in the Sydney CBD, making this the third physical media store to carry the film.

Red Eye has always been a place I associated with discovery, long before I ever moved to Sydney. To now have one of my own films sitting on their shelves feels surreal in the best way.

Massive thank you to Matt and the team at Red Eye Records for taking the time to bring this Blu-ray into the store and for supporting independent Australian work. It truly means a lot.

There are only a handful of copies available, and this is one of the last opportunities to pick up Everything is Temporary on physical media. If you’re nearby, drop in, browse the shelves, and grab a copy while you can.
