Rescued s2e4, featuring country star Lyn Bowtell and her rescue terriers Mario and Nina, is out now.

This one is a jam-packed and insightful conversation, examining Lyn's journey from uber-polite teenage talent quest entrant to status as a confident, established professional, giving back as a songwriting mentor.

And we get a peek at some of the serious experiences that coloured her journey, the darkest of which she was able to turn into cathartic and moving pieces of work. As is the songwriter way.

Plus, there's a fabulous love story, and the fur babies who bring joy and inspiration along the way.

Worth a listen, especially if the news feed is getting you down. Available on Amazon, Apple, Spotify and Castbox.

A new episode of Rescued drops tomorrow! This week Roz Pappalardo asks country star Lyn Bowtell about the storied background that set her up to build an incredible career, the life experiences that have shaped her songwriting, and the tour with Beccy Cole that led to her falling in love. Among other things.

And we meet her "little Jacks", rescue dogs Mario and Nina, who became instant family and who bring unconditional pure joy.

A funny, insightful and at times sobering conversation about self-discovery, shaking off the fawn response, and forging an authentic, creative life as an original musician.
