What an absolutely beautiful morning we had at the All Abilities Colour Run! 🌈

Hosted by MidCoast Council to celebrate International Day of People with Disabilities, today was all about joy, inclusion, and community spirit.

Watching everyone run, walk, roll and laugh their way around the track was deadly - mates, families, support workers, everyone just showing up with so much heart. The smiles from the support workers alone could’ve lit up the whole oval!

A big shout out to all the services, community groups, families and support workers who came together to make this morning so special. Your energy, your teamwork and your smiles truly made the colour run what it was.

We don’t normally share the private messages we get here at Ngarralinyi Radio - we receive so many beautiful ones every week through Facebook and on the phone… but this one stopped us in our tracks.

It reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

At Ngarralinyi, our value has always been simple: community first.
Creating a space where people feel welcome, seen and connected. A place where music isn’t just music - it’s medicine. A place where voice’s on the radio can make someone feel a little less alone.

To know that someone walked away from meeting us feeling loved and welcomed … that’s everything. That is the footprint we hope to leave everywhere we go.
