After a short break dealing with family loss Lost and Found Sounds returns this week and pays homage to two greats of experimental music - both born in 1932, and who were widely unrecognised for too much of their careers - Serbian multi-disciplinary artist and prolific radiophony composer Arsenije Jovanović who died in 2025 aged 92 and French composer Éliane Radigue who died two weeks ago at the age of 94.

While Éliane Radigue is perhaps best known for her long-form minimalist works from later in her career, we'll hear works from her earliest years when she experimented with feedback loops using reel-to-reel tape recorders, including works from Opus 17 on Important Records and also a piece for a bold performance that operated under the pretext of audience engagement with multiple tape recorders.

From Arsenije Jovanović we'll listen to works that demonstrate his love for nature with a track from his final release - a limited edition lathe-cut 12" put out by Astres d'Or in 2024 - and his disdain for war and political aggression with works for radio that originally appeared on Kunst Radio in Austria and on Yleisradio Oy in Finland, one of which was subsequently aired on the ABC radio program The Listening Room.

And we'll also listen to another track from the recently fully released audio document of coping with grief composed by Colombian sound artist David Vélez from his superb CD succinctly titled 'Loss' released on Belgian label Unfathomless.
