Lost and Found Sounds this week will be airing tracks from the first 4 volumes in the forthcoming Sonitus series of various artist anthologies to be released in coming months on Post Orientalism Music, a label operated by Iranian experimental musician Ehsan Saboohi who we'll also hear from in collaboration with Camila Bolatti on another forthcoming album titled 'Qaf', also on his label. There'll be tracks from the anthologies by Lena Koucheri, RDKPL, Mohammad Reza Hashemi, Deniz Tafaghodi, Andrew Cheffings, and Chem XP.

And while were talking Iranian experimental music there's also tracks from a recent release on Noise a Noise - 'Radif of Iranian Music: Home Is Far Away' by Ali Balighi with his extraordinary take on experimental music but from a Persian perspective.

There're new works from Cadlag off their album 'Tensor' on Pharmafabrik, a collaborative effort between Buffalomckee and DD Dobson that produced 'The Charity School Movement' on the intentionally-under-the-radar Hyster Tapes, a just-out release from EA-FOHRS ('Gullet') and we'll hear from an astonishing upcoming release on Room40 by Aki Ondo - 'In the Depth of Illusion: A Soundtrack for Nervous Magic Lantern', a soundtrack to a visual performance by experimental filmmaker Ken Jacob using his Magic Lantern, an extraordinary self-invented image projector.

And we'll also hear contributions by Ecka Mordecai & Malvern Brume, Artifical Memory Trace, and Banana to 'Synthetic Bird Music' on mappa.

On Lost and Found Sounds this week there's a couple of longform works - Steve Roden with Forms of Paper jointly reissued last year on vinyl, cassette and digitally, through Aurora Central Records and LINE, and a new collaborative work by Lance Austin Olsen and Gil Sansón - 'The Warrior' - on Somnimage.

There's also delightful works by Bren't Lewiis Ensemble from the Mission Approximated CD released on Butte County Free Music Society and the one and only Thug (Tex Perkins, the late Peter Read, and Lachlan McLeod) who were notorious for their chaotic discord, and not at all known for anything remotely harmonic even if chaotic, but there's a track perfectly fitting that description, which appeared only on a compilation released years after the band was relegated to the dirty annals of history.
