Free range.

These are truly free range eggs. Chickens just doing their thing. This one often lays her eggs in the chaff.

It sure is a different life than for the chickens whose eggs are for sale in our supermarkets labelled ‘free range’.

I guess that’s all perspective.

I used to think I was free.

But in comparison to my life now? I was behind bars. And at times in solitary confinement!

I now know what true freedom is, and all the things that go with it.

And what’s better?
I know how to have all of them.

What we eat is important. Try to cook for yourself, and use the best ingredients you can find.

Organic and free range ingredients are ideal. And although the range is small and the prices are high in most supermarkets, search out the farmers markets - they are around.
