-9.5 ❄️Freeze at Ebor Falls Nth Tablelands NSW east of Armidale/Guyra and a long exposure at dawn yesterday.❄️ Incredibly hard to photograph especially as it was so cold fingers turned numb very quickly.

I would’ve liked to have taken some more photos at that golden moment but I had to abort and get back to the car for the warmth. The sun coming out has never been so welcome on this morning, I can tell you!!

New England Railway Incorporated (NERI) with the assistance of Northern Regional Railway Company Pty Ltd (NRRC) is now well advanced to applying for a full access licence for the railway between Bluff Rock (south of Tenterfield) to Jennings.
The aim is to turn this section into a rail tourism attraction which includes a number of groups, organisations, and businesses working together to operate trikes, rail bikes, and a heritage rail motor. The vision involves more than just rail usage with proposals for cafes and links with other tourism ventures.
All works are fully costed with final costings for the restoration of the Sunnyside Bridge due back from the quantity surveyor soon. A draft brief and all associated documents for a licence are also being finalised.
NERI would love to hear back from any individuals, groups, organisations, and businesses that would love to be involved.
Discussions are also taking place with Queensland Rail regarding access to the currently out of use network from Wallangarra north.
