Program Preview: People in Profile.

Even if you’ve never seen one of his films, today’s People in Profile subject is a true icon of theatre, and you’d almost certainly recognise his distinctive voice.
Sir Philip Anthony Hopkins, a Welsh stage and film actor of burning intensity, is often at his best portraying characters on the fringes of sanity or deeply flawed misfits. His remarkable career spans decades of unforgettable performances that have left an indelible mark on cinema and theatre alike.
He turns 88 on 31 December, a testament to a lifetime dedicated to the craft of acting.

Day one of the Melbourne Disability Expo was wonderful! We were represented by Sam (presenter of Talking Vision on Vision Australia Radio) Tom (Vision Australia Library) and Will (Vision Australia client services) where we had so many meaningful conversations with people about our radio network and our organisation's services to the blind and low vision community.

If you're in Melbourne today, drop by the expo, its on until 3pm.

We're excited. No only are we pumped for our appearance at the Melbourne Disability Expo this Friday and Saturday, from 9am until 3pm each day, we will be there displaying our new Vision Australia Radio media wall, banners and of course branded table cloth. It was time retire our two pull up banners, they've served as well.

If you're in Melbourne this Friday or Saturday, pop by and say hello.

Heads up! We will be heading to the Brimbank Libraries Writers and Readers Festival in March, and the ATSA Independent Living Expo Adelaide, also in March next year.
