Carnival is for everyone. And we mean everyone.
We know that planning a big day out looks different for different people - and we want to make sure that whatever your needs, you can experience the magic of Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers with confidence and ease.
Here's what we've got in place for 2026:
πΊοΈ Plan your visit before you go
Brand new this year β detailed accessibility profiles for our key events and parks are now live on our website. Head to the pages for Queens Park Botanic Gardens, Laurel Bank Park, FEASTival, Paw Parade and the Grand Central Floral Parade to find everything you need to know from ground surfaces and gradients to toilet access and parking β so you can plan your perfect day before you even leave home.
Both Queens Park Botanic Gardens and Laurel Bank Park feature hard surface pathways throughout and accessible parking nearby, making them easy to navigate whatever your mobility needs.
π» Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program
We're proud members of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program. Our staff and volunteers are trained to recognise a sunflower lanyard and provide discreet, compassionate support whenever it's needed. You're always welcome here.
πΆ Quiet hour
Every Monday to Thursday during Carnival, all live and recorded music pauses in Queens Park Botanic Gardens and Laurel Bank Park from 10amβ11am to create a calm and peaceful time to explore the gardens at your own pace. Wonderful for those with sensory challenges, or just prefer a quiet environment.
π Accessible viewing at the parade
Guests with mobility aids can access a dedicated accessible viewing zone on Ruthven St at our Grand Central Floral Parade. Descriptive audio commentary is also available at Godsall St ovals for guests who prefer an audio experience. Can't make it in person? We livestream the whole parade on our page.
ποΈ Companion Cards
Companion Cards are accepted across a range of our events, so make sure you bring yours with you!
Have a question we haven't answered? We're always happy to help! You can reach us on (07) 4688 6661 or visit our site for more information: tcof.com.au/stay-play/accessibility/
