I wrote and produced this short animation last year for Surfrider Foundation Surf Coast. A beautiful little animation that showcases the truth about where Australia's gas goes. Simple, honest, true... a huge thanks to animator Jake Hunwick.

Just got back from watching Warwick Thornton's latest film WOLFRAM. This is an amazing film with great cinematography, editing and sound. The actors are incredible conveying the suspense, fear and tension that the story demands. Go and see this one on a big screen to fully experience and appreciate the images and sounds created by Thornton. A brilliant film. 🎬πŸŽ₯πŸ™

Gas and oil companies are making huge profits in Australia and trashing our oceans in the process. Today in Canberra it was revealed fossil fuel companies plan to spend $6-7 million dollars campaigning against plans to introduce a 25% tax on gas/oil revenue. Where does our gas go and who profits? Check out our little video which dispels a number of these myths.

WHERE DOES OUR GAS GO is a short animation produced by Surfrider Foundation Surf Coast Branch. The animation explores issues around seismic blasting in the O...

30 years ago on 16 April 1996 Richard Frankland's short film NO WAY TO FORGET (which I produced) had its world premiere at the George Cinema in St Kilda, part of the From Sand To Celluloid series of Indigenous short films. 30 years later its powerful story still resonates. It is great to see that Warwick Thornton's latest feature film WOLFRAM opens nationally this week. He was also one of the filmmakers featured in that first Indigenous series of short films. https://youtu.be/GNmdx4rPcNE?si=fRSDAJFz66X7GvnM

29 years ago this week NO WAY TO FORGET, Richard Frankland's award winning short film (which I produced) had its international debut at the Festival de Cannes. I always getting a warm and fuzzy feeling this time of year when the Cannes Festival is on full swing. To have a film screen at Cannes in the specialist category Un Certain Regard is super cool. The only tragedy is that 29 years later deaths in custody are still occurring on a regular basis. A national shame.
