What are you reading? Most people who attempted such a task would sink into being miserable blabbers of tacenda, mere sieves though which matters of secret importance would granulate into the hands or ardent journalists. I do not think that I could have survived eight months of writing courses if I was not a Philomath. The hardest part was having so many different people edit my work and the magnitude of feedback left me overwhelmed to work out what was useful and what wasn't. Learning occurred when I could sift through trusting my own gut about my story and follow that.

Clearing my head and getting a different perspective! To not have distraction moments I will lie on my bed other way round and stare at the painting above my bed head or sit on a chair and face my plain wardrobe doors. Minimal view helps me quickly run through the thoughts in my head. I can work through something I am trying to write or alternatively I will write in these spaces if I’m struggling to get my word count out for the day!

Getting back into the flow of writing. I love giving myself time to have a break but know that I have to get back into the routine and discipline of sitting down at my desk each day to edit or write. I know there is no one shoe fits all when it comes to individual flow but for me it is a schedule so I try and keep to that.

Every year I choose a word - a word that I frame, keep on my desk and I align with daily. Last year was calm and I must admit I am still working through that one. This year I have chosen creator - it came during a meditation and it is currently how I feel. I am creating a book, I am creating a culture, I am creating daily practices, I am creating love, I am creating positive thoughts - it felt amazing to know that I could choose to just create the world I want to live in. What adventures have you had that would be book worthy - I personally am surprised at the number of people interested in my military background and how I parented from a war zone. You are uniquely you - that is a story in itself. Your story - your worth! I am me - I am enough and my simple story is an adventure to someone else - a beacon of hope or permission to be real. Don’t be scared to share your story! 💕

Fate or Destiny - Is it possible that my whole life I have been leading up to this moment. My life has been chapters to write down and to share. The lessons, the journey, the emotions - I thought happiness was the destination but through my stories you will see that it was always the moments in time that made up the sentences to create the chapter.
